Easy Beef Stew - Recipe

Beef stew simplified. Full of depth from the bouillon and Worcesetershire and every bite has a variety of vegetables in it. The biscuits will mop up the delicious gravy from this stew.

Easy Beef Stew Recipe
Directions
Place 2 tablespoons of flour in a plastic bag. Add meat cubes a few at a time, shaking to coat. Brown meat in hot oil, drain fat.

Stir in vegetable juice, water, onion, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cubes, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until meat is nearly tender.

Stir in potatoes, green beans, corn, carrots and celery. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 30 more minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.

Discard bay leaf and serve with biscuits.

-3 cups potatoes, cubed
-1 1/2 cups frozen cut green beans
-1 cup frozen whole kernel corn
-1 cup carrots, sliced
-1/2 cup celery, sliced
