- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups whole cranberries, uncooked
- BUTTER SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cream 
 
This is the perfect dessert to impress your guests. Keep the butter sauce in a small slow cooker
to be ready to serve any time.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl, mix together butter, sugar
and flour. Add baking powder, salt, vanilla and milk. Stir in cranberries. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes. For butter sauce, lightly brown butter in a small sauce pan over medium
heat. Add sugar and stir 1-2 minutes. Add cream and cook 3-4 minutes. Serve hot over cake.
