German Chocolate Bars

Ingredients
- 1 package German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter - softened
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1 egg
- 1 can coconut pecan frosting
- 2 eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese  
 
Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix the first four ingredients together until crumbly.
  • Reserve two cups of this mixture.
  • With a mixer, blend the frosting, eggs, and cream cheese on high for one minute.
  • Pat the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 pan that has been sprayed with non stick cooking
    spray.
  • Spread the frosting mixture on top of that and then sprinkle the remaining two cups of crumble
    across the top.

  • Bake for 45 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
