Ingredients - 1 cup wild rice - dry - 1 cup celery - chopped - 8 ounces mushrooms - sliced - 1 teaspoon garlic - chopped - 2 tablespoons margarine - 1 tablespoon olive oil - 3 ounces pine nuts - 1/2 cup craisins - 1/2 cup dates - chopped - salt and pepper - to taste This wild rice recipe is so good and so satisfying that it could be served as a main dish rather than just as a side dish.
