Directions
Bring large pot of water to a boil, cook pasta according to package directions.
Place pasta in a large bowl. Add minced garlic, 2 tbsp. olive oil, salt, pepper, and 1/2 lemon zest from whole lemon. Toss to combine. Keep warm while cooking salmon.
In sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium/high heat; add the crushed garlic.
Place salmon fillets, skin side down, in oil. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until bottom of salmon is cooked.
Turn broiler on low. Drizzle 1/2 of the lemon juice over salmon; season with salt and pepper.
Place sauté pan under broiler. Broil 5-10 minutes. Broil just until salmon flakes easily and lightly browned on top. Remove from the oven.
Add the spinach and basil to the pasta and toss to mix in evenly. Place the pasta mixture on a large platter and spread out evenly.
With a spatula, remove fillets from the pan and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with green onions, capers and lemon zest.
