Ingredients - 1/4 cup vegetable oil - 3/4 cup popcorn - unpopped - 1/3 cup parmesan cheese - grated - cayenne pepper - dash or 2 - seasoning salt to taste; approximately 1-2 teaspoons The savory flavor of this popcorn is a welcome change of pace to buttery or sweet tasting varieties. It makes a terrific garnish for a variety of soups. Directions
Heat oil in large covered pot on medium/high heat on stove.
When hot, add unpopped popcorn.
Remove from heat when most kernels have popped. Pour into a large bowl.
Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine.
NOTE: Can also be served in soups to add flavor.
