Spicy Turkey Paella Recipe

The classic Spanish dish is given an American flair in this delicious version that contains wild rice and leftover turkey.
Spicy Turkey Paella Recipe (+)
Directions
Brown the sausage in a small skillet, drain on a paper towel to remove excess grease.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic and sauté until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add the bell pepper and cooked rice, stir to combine.
Add in the broth, tomatoes, salt, oregano and black pepper.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat back to medium and cook for approximately 15 minutes.
Add the sausage, turkey and peas.
Cook for five more minutes and serve hot with a crusty French bread.

4 cups chicken broth

3 tomatoes - large sized, diced

1 teaspoon oregano - dried

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 1/2 cups turkey - cooked and cubed

1 cup peas - frozen (optional)
