This quick and easy uncooked applesauce can be used as a sauce or side dish and has all the great taste and nutrients of fresh raw apples.
Fresh Applesauce Recipe (+)
Directions
Wash apples well but don't peel them. Cut into quarters and remove cores.
Put into food processor with with cinnamon. Pulse until puréed (won't be completely smooth), adding cider or water if apples don't produce enough juice to purée well. If using a smaller processor, work in batches.
Use immediately, refrigerate (up to a week) or freeze.
