Ingredients
- 2 pounds apples
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste
- 1/4 cup cider or water, if needed 
 
This quick and easy uncooked applesauce can be used as a sauce or side dish and has all the great
taste and nutrients of fresh raw apples.
 
Directions
  • Wash apples well but don't peel them. Cut into quarters and remove cores.
  • Put into
    food processor with with cinnamon. Pulse until puréed (won't be completely smooth), adding
    cider or water if apples don't produce enough juice to puree well. If using a smaller processor,
    work in batches.
  • Use immediately, refrigerate (up to a week) or freeze.
