Ingredients - 3 pounds Cooking apples - any variety desired - 1/2 cup water - use more or less if desired - 1 teaspoon cinnamon - add to desired taste - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/2 cup sugar - add more if desired to taste An easy and nutritional applesauce to prepare using unpeeled apples and an immersion blender. Select any variety of cooking apple desired or combine several varieties.
Instead of peeling apples, cut into quarter sections with the peel still attached. Keeping the peel on the apple adds to the nutritional value of the food. Using a knife, remove the core, stem, and seeds.
Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water to a saucepan and place on stovetop burner. Add apples and bring water and apples to a boil. Reduce heat after reaching a boil and continue cooking until apples
