 | | Directions | - In medium bowl, mix sugar, vanilla and tequila; set aside.
- Cut the pineapple into large chunks and add them to the bowl of the sugar mixture. Stir, cover with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes; stirring occasionally.
- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Remove pinepapple from the refrigerator, thread onto skewers.
- Place the skewers on the grill; basting with the marinade.
- Cook for about 6 minutes each side, turning only once.
- Remove from grill, serve warm.
