Ingredients - 6 cups peeled, sliced apples - 1 cup water, divided - 3 tablespoons butter - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1 teaspoon cinnamon - 1/8 teaspoon salt - 3 tablespoons cornstarch - 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped This dessert casserole has the homey flavors of apple pie but is quicker and easier. Use any kind of apple or a mixture. Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Put sliced apples in casserole dish.
- Mix 3/4 cup
