Ingredients
- 8 cups mixed salad greens
- 1/4 cup vinaigrette, bottled or homemade (or more, if preferred)
- 2 pears, ripe but still firm
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts (or more, if preferred)
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese 
 
Crunchy, earthy hazelnuts and crisp sweet pears raise salad greens to a new level.
 
Directions
  • Wash and dry greens. Peel and slice pears. Put hazelnuts in a plastic bag or under a towel
    and crush coarsely - the pieces should be quite large.
  • Toss greens with vinaigrette and
    arrange on four salad plates. Arrange pear slices in a decorative pattern over the greens. Scatter
    nuts and feta over greens and serve.
