Goat Cheese and Shallot Toasts Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Servings: 12

Ingredients - 1 baguette - 6 ounces goat cheese - 1/2 being herbed goat cheese and 1/2 plain goat cheese - 6 tablespoons heavy whipping cream - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 shallot - minced - 1 tablespoon capers - plus more for garnish Light and easy spread for the Holidays or any special occasion. Directions
- Cut baguette on the diagonal 1/4 inch thick.
Lay in single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake until golden, approximately 15 minutes, flip and bake 10 more minutes. Set aside.
Place goat cheese in mixing bowl, mash with a fork.
Add 1 tablespoon of cream at a time until you have a soft consistency spread.
Mix in salt, shallot and 1 tablespoon of capers.
When ready to serve, spread cheese mixture on each baguette toast and top with a light sprinkle of capers.
Serve at room temperature.
