Ingredients - 3 cups sour dough bread cut into 1/2 inch chunks - 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-1/2 inch pieces - 1 tablespoon olive oil - ground black pepper to taste Great toppings for soups or salads. Directions
Preheat oven to 350° with the rack placed on the middle shelf.
Spread bread cubes and bacon on the baking sheet.
Sprinkle with oil and black pepper.
Bake, stirring a few times, until the bacon is crisp and bread cubes are golden brown. Approximately 20 minutes.
Let cool.
Serve with potato soup or salads.
Store in refrigerator.
