Oatmeal Double Chip Cookie

Ingredients - 1/2 cup white sugar - 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed - 1/2 cup butter or margarine - 1 egg, slightly beaten - 2 tablespoons milk - 3/4 teaspoon vanilla - 1 cup all purpose flour - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oat meal - 1 cup baking chips* A classic cookie that kids and adults will enjoy. Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease cookie sheets.
- Cream together sugars and
butter in a large bowl. Add egg, vanilla and milk and beat until smooth.
In a small bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
Stir the sifted dry ingredients into the creamed sugar and butter mixture. Blend until smooth. Add oatmeal and baking chips of your choice*. Stir until combined.
Drop by teaspoonsful on well greased cookie sheet. Bake
