Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup half & half, warm
- salt & pepper to taste* 
 
A creamy, thick white sauce.
 
Directions
  • Over medium heat, melt butter in a small sauce pan.
  • Add flour. Whisk until smooth,
    approximately 1 minute.  Add warm half and half; continue to whisk. Cook an additional 3 to
    4 minutes or until thick and bubbling.
  • Remove from heat.  Season to taste.*

    *Use white pepper if desired.
