Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 package butterscotch chips 
 
Sweet and spicy twist to a holiday favorite.

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine flour and seasonings. In a large mixing
bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and molasses. Gradually add in flour mixture until
well blended. Stir in butterscotch chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheet. Bake for
9-11 minutes until light brown in color.
