Crunchy Chicken Strips

Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2/3 cup cheese crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 cup buttermilk 
 
My 8-year old made these for supper. They are a good substitute for the frozen, pre-processed
chicken nuggets.
 
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut chicken into 1 inch strips. Combine cracker crumbs and bread
crumbs in a shallow dish. Put buttermilk into a separate shallow dish. Dip chicken into buttermilk
and then dip in the crumb mixture, being sure to fully coat the chicken. Place on baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Dip in ranch or BBQ sauce.
