 | | Directions | - Bring large pot of water to a boil, cook pasta according to package directions. When done, drain, reserving 1/4 cup water.
- Place pasta on large serving platter or bowl. Add minced garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and 1/2 lemon zest from whole lemon. Toss to combine. Keep warm while cooking salmon. In sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium/high heat, add 1 teaspoon crushed garlic.
- Place salmon fillets, skin side down, in oil. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until bottom of salmon is cooked.
- Turn broiler on low. Squeeze 1/2 lemon over salmon, season with salt and pepper. Place sauté pan under broiler. Broil 5-10 minutes. Just until salmon flakes easily and lightly browned on top.
- Remove from the oven, with spatula, remove fillets from the pan and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with green onions, capers and lemon zest.
