Ingredients
- 1 pound tomatillos
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 small lime, sliced thinly, seeds removed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch hot red pepper flakes. or 1/8 tsp hot sauce, or to taste 
 
This quick and easy salsa, with its several shades of green, tastes as refreshing as it looks.
 
Directions
  • Prepare tomatillos: remove husks and wash to remove sticky coating. Cut into quarters.
  • Put cut-up tomatillos into food processor with all remaining ingredients and pulse until

well chopped, but not puréed.
  • Use immediately, or refrigerate for later use.
