In a blender or food processor, blend the peanuts, cilantro, oil, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, pepperoncini and lime juice.
Blend into a smooth paste.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Reserve 1/2 cup for serving with chicken.
Use the rest to brush on the chicken.
Place chicken pieces in a 9x13 dish.
Coat pieces with sauce.
Marinate in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Bring to room temperature before cooking.
Preheat grill to medium.
Place chicken pieces directly on the grill.
Turn frequently until golden and crisp.
Watch carefully so that the sauce does not burn on the chicken.
Grill for approximately 20-30 minutes.
Serve with lime wedges and reserved marinade.
