This tangy dressing provides a spicy mustard overtone that enhances the flavors of salad greens and slaws combined with meats or a variety of vegetables.
Oil and Mustard Vinaigrette Recipe (+)
Directions
In a small, heavy saucepan combine vinegar, oil, sugar, and celery seed.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring frequently until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat. Add mustard and season to taste. Cool completely.
Note: If made a day ahead, cover and refrigerate. Prior to serving, remove from refrigerator and allow to warm to room temperature.
