Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups butter, softened
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 20 oz. bag of semi sweet chocolate chips or chunks 
 
A chewy chocolate chip cookie--just like grandma's.
 
Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • In a large bowl, combine both of the flours, baking powder,

baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  • In large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add
    sugar a little at a time making sure that it is incorporated before adding more. Add the
    vanilla extract. Slowly add in the flour mixture, a little at a time, until it is all combined.
    Mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Spray cookie sheet or stone with non stick cooking spray. Drop
    approximately nine dollops on the sheet and bake 8-9 minutes, or until cookies are
    slightly brown. Remove from the oven and let the cookies rest on the sheets for approximately 2
    minutes. Remove cookies from sheets and place on cooling racks. Makes approximately 3-4 dozen cookies.
