Wine Dressing for Mixed Greens

Ingredients
- 1 shallot, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or spicy brown mustard
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 
 
Great dressing for a salad of mixed greens or pears and blue cheese.

Directions
  • In a food processor, add shallot and garlic, pulse until finely minced.
  • Add
    mustard, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Pulse until combined. While processor is running gradually
    add oil.
  • Add additional seasoning if desired. Pour into jar and cover, refrigerate until
    ready to serve.
