Ingredients
- 2 pounds unsalted mixed nuts (or almonds, walnuts, etc.)
- 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon butter 
 
Enjoyed by all ages, the roasting and coating of seasonings adds a rich savory flavor to this
recipe that can be served as an appetizer or a healthy snack.
 
Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350º F.
  • Spread nuts in pan and place in oven. Watch closely
    as they may burn easily.
  • Over low heat, in a small sauce pan, combine the remaining
    ingredients. Stir until butter melts and ingredients are combined. Remove from heat.
  • Pour
    mixture over warm nuts and toss to coat.

 

  • This recipe can be
    made ahead of time and stored in a covered container. Reheat just before serving or serve at room
    temperature.
