Sweet and Spicy Mustard

Ingredients
- 12 ounces dry mustard
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine 
 
Makes approximately 2 cups.
 
Directions
  • In a double boiler, combine mustard, vinegar, and sugar.
  • In a small bowl, beat
    eggs and add to mustard mixture.
  • Cook 15 minutes in double boiler or until mixture
    becomes thick.
  • Remove mixture from heat and stir in butter until well blended.
  • Refrigerate.

 

          TIP:
Fills approximately 4 small jelly jars for gift giving.
