Ingredients
- 8 cups sliced peaches, fresh or frozen (no syrup)
- 3/4 cup regular rolled oats
- 3/4 cup granola cereal
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

A delightful, easy fruit dessert. This Peach Crisp recipe is a delicious way to prepare fresh
peaches with a sweet spicy flavor and pecans providing a crunchy texture.
 
Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a medium container, combine oats, granola cereal, flour,
    cornstarch, brown sugar, and spices.
  • Cut in butter until mixture has a crumbly texture (see
    TIPPeel and slice peaches (or use frozen sliced peaches) and place in baking dish.
    Sprinkle peaches with oat mixture and add chopped pecans if desired.
  • Bake in preheated oven
    35-45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cold and top with ice cream, if desired.
  • May use apples and pears in combination with peaches for a total of 8 cups.
  •  TIP:  "Cut In" means to combine dry ingredients with shortening, butter or
    margarine by "cutting" the dry ingredients into the fat ingredients with a pastry blender or
    two knives. As the dry ingredients are cut in, they begin to form clumps.
