Muffuletta Sandwich
Similar to a hoagie or hero sandwich that contains an array of ingredients, the Muffuletta is most often stacked with Italian meats and cheeses that are traditionally garnished with an olive mix. Orginating in New Orleans, the Muffuletta is made in many variations using different breads and ingredients, however, the basic Muffuletta is typically made with a round loaf of Italian, French or sourdough sandwich bread, similar to a large, oversized bun.Featured on: 2/10/2013
