The somewhat clear liquid endosperm that is contained within whole, young coconuts. Often promoted as a health beverage, Coconut Water contains no fat and very few calories. It is a liquid that is high in minerals and potassium, so it is typically favored by many who exercise frequently as a healthy beverage for use in reducing hydration and replenishing nutrients. As the coconut matures, the water content decreases as the meat aborbs the Coconut Water.
