Most often, the utensils used for cutting fruits, vegetables and meats into unique shapes are classified as Garnishing Tools. A Garnish or Garnishing Utensil may be as simple as a kitchen paring knife, but may also include utensils such as a melon baller, a multi-bladed cutter, or cookie-cutter like tools that cut foods into a variety of shapes.
