Also referred to as a grill or pan thermometer, this utensil is used to determine the level of heat for accurate temperatures when grilling, searing or pan frying. Surface Thermometers will have readings from 150ºF to over 600ºF allowing for a range of temperatures to be measured. Made with a stainless steel outer casing, the Surface Thermometer can be placed directly on a grill grate or pan surface in order to achieve a reading that is precise for the cooking method being utilized.
