A sweet topping as well as a cooking and baking ingredient made from chocolate based foods with sweeteners added. Traditional chocolate syrup provides a rich chocolate flavor made from cocoa beans ground into cocoa powder. In addition to the common chocolate flavor many other flavors of chocolate syrup are also available, such as those made with the flavor of oranges, mint and fudge.
