Can Grilling Rack

A grilling utensil that is made to hold a canned beverage (beer, juice, or carbonated drinks) so that it is stable as the can rests inside the cavity of a whole bird while it is grilling for vertical roasting. A traditional recipe referred to as Beer-Can Chicken is often made by placing a whole chicken over a can of beer and using the can as a rack. The beer can holding the chicken is then placed on top of the grates of the grill. The cavity fits over the can and as the chicken cooks the contents of the can heats up, adding both moisture and flavor to the meat. This grilling utensil may also be referred to as a beer can grill rack, a chick-can grill rack, or simply a can grill rack.
