A mixture of finely crushed ice and other ingredients that are used to create a thick, cold and refreshing beverage. Slushes are made with sweet ingredients such as fruits and sweet juices, some are made with syrups and ice, while others may include crushed ice, alcohol and other ingredients. Slush is a traditional warm weather beverage but is served throughout the year.
