|
A kitchen utensil that is primarily used to remove olives from their liquid, while allowing the liquid to easily drain from the spoon. The spoon is typically made from stainless steel with slots or a hole cut from the bottom of a bowl-shaped head to release the liquid from the spoon. Olive spoons are also used to lift cherries, cocktail onions, pickled garlic, and other similar condiments from the liquids used to store the foods.
