Sunflower Bread

A type of bread that may be made with coarse rye meal or whole wheat combined with ground and whole sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, honey, and other ingredients. It is most often made into small loaves that are thinly sliced, displaying a crumb that is dense and close-grained in texture. The bread provides a sweet and nutty flavor that can be used for sandwiches or toasted as an addition to meals or appetizers.
