A long-grain aromatic rice that is a hybrid variety of Della rice, which is popular in the southern U.S. Typical of a cooked aromatic rice, wild pecan has a distinctive aroma similar to popcorn and a flavor that provides a rich nutty taste. This rice is also known as Louisiana pecan rice, pecan rice or popcorn rice.
