Dash

Adding a very small amount of an ingredient to a mixture, such as a "dash" of pepper, a "sprinkle" of salt, or a "few drops" of a liquid. A dash is generally equivalent to a little more than 1/16th of a teaspoon or 4 or 5 drops of a liquid.
