A white, kidney-shaped bean with a mild flavor that is available dried or canned. It can be useful in baked bean dishes and soups. When Great Northern beans are unavailable, white kidney beans or navy beans are good substitutions.

Bean Meat Sandwich

I mix red beans, black beans and soy beans all together and then grill them. Mix with chicken and put them on a bun for a nice grilled sandwich. Add as many of each type of bean as you like. I add some salt, pepper, and garlic as well.
