|
A type of cookie that can refer to several types of products. The first type has a sweet flavor, is smaller and much thinner than a regular cookie, with a consistent texture that does not change. They can be made with various flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, or lemon and they can be produced in various thin shapes such as round or rectangular. The second type of wafer is considered to be a sandwich cookie. A cream filling is placed between a top and bottom layer of an airy textured covering that most often has a waffle pattern. This type of wafer has a sugary sweet taste that comes in a variety of flavors. Wafers are often served as a complement to other dessert dishes.
