|
A fruit that is native to the rain forests of India and is usually dried before it is used. It is a light orange color and is similar in size to a dried apricot. Jakfruit has a flavor like spiced tea and can be eaten as is, added to salads, or steeped in hot water for a warm drink. It keeps for long periods in the refrigerator.
