Also known as Frantoiano, Correggiola, Razzo Gentile, and Paragon. It is a medium size Italian olive that comes from Tuscany. It is oval in shape and when ripe is purplish-black in color. Due to its high oil content, it is most often used to produce a sharp, crisp tasting olive oil that is prized by many as one of the finest oils available.
