Flapjack
A flat cake produced by pouring batter on a hot griddle or skillet to form round cakes that are cooked quickly at high heat. There are many variations in the type of flapjacks served, from variations in ingredients to the thickness, size, and toppings used. They are also known as pancakes, griddlecakes and hotcakes.
