"My husband loves fried green beans so I tried this recipe instead of frying them as I normally do. They were good but we like them fried a little more than this recipe calls for. I should have just fried them a little longer anyway. I don't use garlic when I fry them using my recipe but I liked the flavor it added."

Garlic When selecting, choose garlic that is plump and firm with paper-like skins that are tight and intact. Avoid any that are soft or that have begun to shrivel. Place garlic cloves in the microwave for 15 seconds and the skins should peel off easily.
