"I made this recipe this weekend and everyone liked it but next time I am going to try it with red chili beans instead of regular kidney beans. I won't drain the beans either because it was just a little drier than we like. I think using the chili beans with the chili powder called for in the recipe will help give it a little more of a chili flavor, which we felt would be better."

"Easy weeknight meal. My husband loved the biscuits with the cornmeal on them. My daughters helped put it all together, too. I added peas instead of the kidney beans."
