"I had a little Halloween party for my grandkids this weekend and made this as one of the treats. We had a lot of fun with it. Some of the kids would barely try it when I told them it was blood and some wouldn't try it. It was fun watching the faces they made when they took their first sip. Most of them drank it right down once they tried it because it really was tasty. I added one additional teaspoon of chocolate syrup and about 6 more of corn syrup to get it to be thicker. Also, a few more drops of coloring to make it more red. It was the perfect trick to play on little kids though. Even the older ones took a second look before drinking it."
