| Oh, that's the worst! I have done that by completely forgetting to turn the crock pot on. My husband said the chicken I threw in last night with mushrooms and carrots was very good - the dry mushroom soup mix gave it deep, almost wine flavor. I need something quick for tonight so I think I'm going to make a stromboli sandwich with some refrigerated pizza dough I have. |

| My pork chops last night didn't work out! I got home expecting a great smell when I walked in the door. Instead the power on the crock pot was flashing and everything was cold and not done. Apparently our electricity was out for a bit (all clocks were flashing) so the crock pot was shut off. Ugh! what a waste of good food! I threw it all out, not knowing if it was safe or not. |
