Question on knowledge: Chocolate Covered Strawberries (1063)

Question on knowledge: Chocolate Covered Strawberries (1063)

I have a high intolerance to the chocolate that comes ready to be used for dipping fruits etc. So I' would like to use something else. Can I mix hershey semi sweet morsels and milk chocolate morsels to make the chocolate dipping sauce that will harden as it sits?

You do have a couple of options for a dipping sauce for strawberries. If you search on our site for "chocolate strawberries" you will find several recipes that do not use ready-to-use dipping sauce. Any of them should work well.

This could also be done with flour tortillas, too, right? And I wouldn't think you'd have the issues with breakage like with the corn tortillas.
