i ue followed euerything to the receipe but i want to know when u add the 1 1/2 cups of water does it stay watery or after simmering does it thicken up? its my first time of making this receipe so iam not expecting perfect results.

It will not thicken but some will evaporate as it simmers. Whatever water is still present will be more like a broth than a thickened sauce. Good luck with the recipe.

This could also be done with flour tortillas, too, right? And I wouldn't think you'd have the issues with breakage like with the corn tortillas.

Do you have suggestions for freezing this? Would it be ok to split the recipe and freeze half? Should the frozen half be thawed before cooking? Should it be frozen after cooking? If so, how do you suggest reheating.
