Question on glossary: Raw Ham (37394)

Hi I just made a dry cured ham from a small shoulder. I think it's now ready for eating/storage. How long will it keep and where should I store it? Thanks

If you go to our Ham Handling, Safety, and Storage page by pasting this address in the browser, you will get to a page on the site that tells you all about how to store your ham: http://www.recipetips.com/kitchen-tips/t--745/ham-handling-safety-storage.asp I think it will tell you everything you need to know about storing your ham. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your ham.

Water??

The recipe calls for 1 cup of water. It says to add the poppy seeds to the water, then add the water to the mixture, then drain the poppy seeds.
